Good work out DVD! February 21, 2010 Architect (On an island, USA) Good work out DVD! The bar is a little wobbely, but all in all it is a good product.
Good exercise machine February 7, 2010 Don F. Walker This trampoline is durable and has handles that adjust in the right position. I own health clubs and have bought these before. This is by far the best one I have purchased. I would highly recommend it.
Good with a couple catches January 30, 2010 C. Hill (SF Bay Area, CA United States) Overall a good product, and it is what you expect it to be. We bought it for our child that just turned two. The bar is low enough for her if you don't use the screw-in fasteners to hold it solid. The bar can be removed without the fasteners, but only if you're an adult that can pull it up high enough to pass the cylinders it sits within. It is sturdy enough for a child to enjoy the trampoline while holding onto something for support. The product is also good for adults up to the weight limit, we've had no problems with it.
The cons: it stinks when you pull it out of the packaging, the smell goes away but the smell of plastic is pretty strong. I'm not a fan of how it was sent to us. The trampoline itself is folded in half and there is a process to unfold it. You should have two people do this, I did it myself but this was admittedly a risky procedure. That in itself is not too bad to do, but the problem in my eyes is that since it is folded there are protruding hinges on the sides. Unfortunately the stretchy cover seems made for a trampoline without these hinges. As a result the hinges may very well over time wear holes into the cover. The cover is pretty sturdy so it may last though. Another draw-back is that the cover is incredibly hard to get on the trampoline in the first place, partly exacerbated by the hinges.
Good workout but not fun for me! January 3, 2010 Karina Abernathy (Los Angeles, CA) This is a good workout for me but only really if I follow the video tape. To get on it and bounce to music doesn't work for me. I do break a sweat and get my heart rate up so there is no denying that you will have a work out, but the reason I don't think it is fun is because its not springy/bouncy like you picture in your mind. To me it just breaks most of the impact. You are not going to go boing! boing! boing! And, I say only most of the impact is because I do feel it in my lower back. I am not an overweight person so it is not because I am heavy that I feel it in my back. I have done some aerobics on the ground since doing the trampoline and I can feel the big difference.
Although it gets my heart rate up I don't want to do it everyday because i would be bored. Being on a real springy trampoline wouldn't be so boring I would imagine. I am not a runner but I have tried jogging on this for 10 minutes. I can do this outside of the video. If you are a woman and carry your weight in your bottom half * hips, butt, and thighs) I can tell it will definitely tone you up there. When I am on it I feel it so much in my calves. It is a great piece to have as part of your fitness routine, but please get other things because you will be bored with this soon if you do it too often.
I bought mine used for 25 dollars. I would be mad if i paid this much for it to be honest. Not because it doesn't work but because it didn't meet my "high" expectations. It is a workout only for me, not a fun thing to do. If you want the bouncy feeling and a workout too, sit on your stability ball and bounce. That is the kind of bouncing I wanted in a trampoline. The stability ball bounce will give you a squatting type exercise. I add handweights and listen to the BeeGees or Hall N Oats and I get a great work out. So between the tramp, exercise ball, treadmill, my bike, and exercise tapes no gym membership for me and a beautiful healthy body.
As far as the sturdyness of it...I think it is pretty sturdy. I had one before and I use the heck out of that one. The only reason we got rid of it was because I stopped using it. I think that one had a bit more bounce to it or maybe because I was an undergrad in college I had more energy.
Just remember, if you want a workout it is fine, if you really want to jump and bounce for fun you may be disappointed. I would not be happy if I paid the 79.00 for it.
pleased with the rebounder August 2, 2009 M. Naylor (Oregon) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased the rebounder awhile back and have noticed that it has more stamina than I do. I'm very pleased with this product. It's well made and very supportive. Thanx to the bar, I don't feel like I'm going to fall off or lose my balance while using it. The CD that came with it is quite informative for using it in many different ways so that one can do a full body workout.
