EXCELLENT & A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT! January 30, 2010 Kathleen L. Clifford (Los Alamos, NM USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love my rebounder. I love it even more after using my friends 'cheaper & from a sports store' model. I read the reviews of many models, pondered, read again, pondered again. But in the end I decided if I were going to commit to a new health regimen I would want to give it the best shot with the best product, even if it did cost a bit more in the beginning it would pay off if I continued to enjoy and USE it. Turns out that was the right choice. As I said, using my friends rebounder felt noticeably inferior, a harder bounce. This has a fabulous 'feel' to the bounce, and it folds quickly and easily (unlike my friends supposedly 'foldable' model). I prefer not using the skirt, it catches my foot when I move around the rebounder. I also don't think it attaches well, the velcro straps kept ripping off the skirt while I was using it. But not an issue since I didn't like using it anyway. This, in addition to a sensible eating plan, has helped me loose 20 lbs very easily. I've read all the health benefits of bouncing as well, releasing toxins, stimulating the lymph system. I have that on blind faith. All I know is that this rebounder has given me a great indoors during the winter routine (needed to replace my biking/swimming with something equally easy on an injured foot), and the weight loss was a great bonus! I will continue to use this product, I look forward to my daily bouncing. A very fine, well-made product.
The Best, Most Fun Exercise October 13, 2009 Jo Ana Starr (USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Love this trampoline ! I had a cheapie years ago and it wasn't very comfortable to use....too stiff, I think, so the bounce was jarring. This is like bouncing on a giant, stale marshmallow with a lot of bounce.
The folding aspect is really handy if you travel at all or move around much. The trampoline is about 30 lbs and the case has a shoulder strap. Transporting it is very manageable.
Getting it folded isn't hard at all, nor is setting it up again. It's amazing how stable it is given that it folds in half.
Bouncing is a wonderful form of exercise. It's fun, feels good and it does a lot more for your body than just exercise and balance. You can do it for 10 mins at a time and increase your usage to 3-4 10 minute time slots. if you're busy, and if you're working on staying alkaline, using the trampoline for 10 mins at a time helps you to avoid a lactic acid build-up in your muscles, staying alkaline.
I highly recommend this trampoline !
love it! February 20, 2009 Suzy C. Hein (telluride co) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought a cheaper different model before this one like some other reviewers here. Same results. Springs broke, the screw on legs would shimmy loose and the bounce is way harder than the Needak. This rebounder is well-worth the money. In this case, you really do get what you pay for. The Needak is a much more pleasant and cushioned bounce.
Superb Quality but...I wish I had bought the non-folding version August 9, 2008 S. Geske (Clearwater, MN USA) 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
I just received this model and I have to say I am impressed by the durable and sturdy construction. My wife gave me a crazed look when she discovered I paid over $200 for an item you can get at discount stores for under $50 or pick up at most garage sales for under $10. After a dozen or so bounces on the Needak model, however, she noticed a big difference in the quality and feel over less sturdy models. She quickly announced that this was something that she was going to enjoy and use regularly. The folding feature is handy for transport or storage and I have no concerns about stability. There is a tradeoff for the convenience, however. The legs on the folding model do "wobble" up to 1/4 of an inch in all directions. It doesn't seem to affect the overall functioning of the rebounder. However, I wish I had bought the non-folding model and saved some money while gaining more stability.
WE HAVE TREADMILL, ELLIPTICAL, BUT LOVE THIS THE BEST April 4, 2008 Mona Lisa (Marietta, Ga) 48 out of 49 found this review helpful
After spending thousands of dollars on Elliptical and treadmill I came across the rebounder while doing a search for cellulite reduction. I have four weeks to tone up before a trip to the Bahamas. We set this up right in the middle of our family room and my husband and I are doing four 10 minute sessions throughout the day. This is virtually painless and takes very little effort to get on for 10 minutes. I will slowly increase to 15 minute sessons and in the book that came with it it says to slowly work your way into it because if you over-do it your toxins will be released too quickly. Something about jumping up and down that actually detoxifies the cells. Even though we have only had it a week, both of us can notice a big difference in the tone of our bodies already! If you are a person that does not like to exercise then this little inexpensive (compared to all the other stuff) is a Godsend. It's FUN and IT WORKS LIKE NOTHING ELSE!!!!
It is QUALITY no doubt. We got the folding one so we could take it with us to our cabin. It comes with a nice carrier that has a strap. It is quite heavy! It isn't that big of a deal to set it up, especially with two people. It also came with a book that is quite motivating, and a dvd that gets into the scientific effect that rebounding has on the cells. Very informative and motivating! There is a story in the book about an elderly lady with cataracts that started using the rebounder and her cataracts went away. She had also suffered with an inner ear "imbalance" condition that was cured as well.
If you do some research on what rebounding does to the cells in your body you will be convinced that this very well could be the ticket to the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! I am excited to see how I will feel in a couple of months since I am seeing results this quickly. Keeping your "bum" tight and pushing off with your toes 100 times will tighten your whole back side. Great for shaping up those calves to. Ladies if you want sexy legs the fun way, get yourself one of these, put on some rockin' music and go to town! I would recommend this rebounder to ANYONE and especially for those of you who want to nail that ugly cellulite and lose weight!
This was shipped the day I ordered it and it came in about five days. BRAVO!!
UPDATE:
I'm writing this update to hopefully keep some of you people that buy this from making the same mistake I did. I hadn't used this for quite some time, and I got on it and jumped for 45 minutes. I'm 52 and not in the best of shape, but I should think this would apply to anyone regardless of what shape you're in. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT SAY BUILD YOUR TIME UP GRADUALLY!!! The contractions on my spine from jumping up and down for too long too fast have left me with a very sore burning spine. GRADUAL is the key here...especially if you're out of shape. It didn't start getting REAL sore until the third day. Now I have to wait for it to heal before getting on the Needak again. Don't do what I did. It's a fantastic piece of equipment but just be careful!
